Covers the free /translate document translation tool, and data handling across SmartAgents.ma generally.
We do not store your uploaded document, pasted text, or the resulting translation on our servers. Your content is processed in memory for the duration of your request only, sent to our translation model provider to generate the translation, and then discarded. Nothing is written to a database or disk, and there is no retention window to wait out.
We do not use content you submit to /translate to train any AI model.
We do not log or expose personally identifiable information (names, ID numbers, addresses) contained in your document to analytics or third-party tools. Basic operational logs (e.g. that a request failed and why, at a technical level) may be kept briefly for reliability purposes and never include document content.
We process your document based on your explicit consent, given by checking the consent box before upload. You may withdraw consent at any time by simply not using the tool again — since nothing is retained, there is nothing further to delete on our end once your translation request has completed.
If you believe any data related to your use of this site has been retained in error, you can request its review or deletion by contacting us through the contact form.
For other parts of the site (e.g. the contact form), we collect the information you voluntarily submit (name, email, message, and similar fields) to respond to you. See our Terms of Use for how this data may be used.
